Founded in 2009 to meet the demand for reclaimed wood in Bali, Kaltimber is dedicated to protecting Indonesia's forests. They replant 50 Ulin (ironwood) trees for every 950m² of processed materials sold. Their Bali operation employs 27 skilled woodworkers specializing in termite-resistant, A1-rated, exterior-grade Ulin ironwood, creating products that add warmth and history to any home.
Kaltimber sources its wood from structures slated for demolition, ensuring replacements are from legal and sustainable sources.
